In Revelation 13:18 He that hath wisdom is told to count the number of the beast.

To count something can have meanings of math or mental computing in ones brain. Calculating can mean figuring something out by mentally feeling, seeking, accounting in ones mind, by feeling the Spirit that gives wisdom.
1 + 1 = 2 but counting can also mean using the power of the Word of God, to compute by his Word and by His Spirit. The number Six Hundred, Sixty and Six takes on a whole new meaning when viewed in this light. He that hath wisdom is to be touched by the Hand of God.
