The number 666 will lead to the age-old argument for or against the one true supreme God and the one true religion A counterfeit religion will be presented before the whole world and severe control systems will be placed upon the people to demand adherence. Mystical manifestations will be the ultimate delusional control to lead the people into the final battle between good and evil. It will be a world-wide civil war of sorts.

The abyss of 666 is a deep pit of darkness and nothingness. The 666 at the end of time is like the emptiness at the beginning of time. Man has descended into spiritual darkness and God will have to retrieve man from a one-world satanic religion.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light; and there was light. Genesis 1:1-3
The man 666 thinks he controls religion and light, but is only without form, void and dark.
Those who follow Christ and not the man 666 will have an awe-inspiring religious experience, a quantum leap into light.

The earth is in a sad state of affairs. There would be no need to enlighten the earth, if it were not in spiritual darkness.
