There are many personality traits and types that surface when it comes to learning about the 666. How can someone escape something that they do not understand. The following lists describe just a few examples of these types:
1. Those who are mentally blocked or confused
- Many think they are saved and do not need to study
- Don't think it's important
- They will know when the time comes
- We need to leave it alone
- Let the Bible interpret itself - my way
- Silence is best on things too difficult to understand
- I will be raptured away before this tribulation
- To the making of many books, there is no end.
- When the two prophets come, we will know what to do
- My religion has interpreted this, and that is good enough for me
- My searching of the internet has led me to the truth
- We all know it is the Devil's number, the Anti-Christ, what is all this extra information about and why should I need anything else
- Don't believe the Bible is necessary
2. Those who are fearful
- Tired or intimidated by numerous falsehoods, afraid of being misled again
- Afraid of opening up such an ominous subject
- Controlled by relatives, peers or their church to not rock the boat
- Illogical fear of the number, afraid that studying about it will bring a curse
- Do not have the self-confidence to think God would bring them truth
3. Those who are sincere truth seekers but have not had access to the truth
- Honest, interested, asks questions
- May not have heard about the prophecy
- Open to studying the Christian Bible
- Teachable
- Willing to compare scripture with scripture
- Anxious to read recommended reading
- Spirit led
- May not have had access to much truth but praying for more light on the subject
