Oh What Chaotic, Exciting Times We Live in.
But in the last days
it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be
established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the
hills; and people shall flow unto it. Micah
4:1
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the
mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains,
and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Isaiah 2:2
In the last days Mountains are symbolic of God's One True Church (Exalted above the Hills) ,with a vanguard consisting of 144,000 Christians (Rev. 7) and those with. The LORD has a controversy with his church.
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. Rev. 7:9.
Following the vanguard will be a Great Multitude that no man can number (unnumbered group) and this group are for signs and wonders. The Lord has a controversy with them.
The hills are symbolic of the splits and splinter Christian churches scattered throughout the nations. The LORD has a controversy with them.
Also included will be an ingathering of all true believers out of any non-Christian or pagan doctrines. Everyone who is willing to follow God's leading will be candidates of the fold.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. Isaiah 2:2
It says "In" the last days otherwise all nations would not be able to flow unto it. This miraculous event is prior to the second advent of Christ. This miraculous event is not describing the widely held belief of a 1000 year Kingdom set up on this earth,
This event is about an eloquent and little understood marvelous prophecy.
Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD'S controversy, and ye strong
foundations of the earth: for the Lord hath a controversy with his people, and
he will plead with
Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before
the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice. Micah 6:1
A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord. Jer. 25:31
In other words, God has a controversy with everyone. When God speaks, who can refuse to listen? Contending before a mountain or hill represents people who can be spoken to, contended with and have the ability to listen to what God is saying.
Amen
